Looking for something fun and practical for multiple kids or a shared kids room this school year? Look no further! Check out a Bunk Bed WITH Desk just in time for Back to School! Sleep more than one child and create space for them to study and thrive with a student desk.
Choose Your Bunk Bed with Desk Configuration
The process for creating your custom bunk bed with desk is pretty straight forward. First, determine how many kids you need to sleep on a regular basis. Maxtrix offers fantastic solutions for two or three kids with L-Shaped bunk beds for two kids or triple corner bunk beds for three.
L-Shaped bunk beds look like they sound - the beds are turned in two different directions forming the shape of an "L". Here is an example with our most popular mid-height bunk bed the Mash:
The space to the left and right of the bottom bunk are perfect for storage like bookcases or dressers and also, of course, study desks! They fit the exact width of our twin bed configurations.
If you prefer the look of a traditional stacked bunk bed, then simply go with the classic look and opt for a desk just off to the side. Keep in mind that with any Maxtrix setup, you can rearrange the beds and desks easily as each component acts as a standalone or a packaged configuration.
If a third bed is a "must" then we highly recommend our triple corner bunk beds. They are the ultimate space savers for shared bedrooms providing comfortable quarters for many kids while also still freeing up space for storage or study.
If extra leg or arm room is needed, the same style but in a twin over full bunk bed setup may serve you best.
Desks either attach to the bed frames for extra security and safety when used on bed ends or they slide right underneath as a sturdy, stand alone piece of furniture.
Note that an occasional third or fourth kid can sleep comfortably with a pullout trundle that pushes back underneath the bed when unused. This is ideal for saving valuable square footage and maximizes space. Add a trundle to an "L" or Corner Bed configuration.
Maybe you don't need all of the extra beds but still want an elevated kids bed with desk. It's possible you're thinking about a Loft Bed. In fact, the only difference is the absence of the bottom bunk. (Find out more in our Bunks vs. Lofts Guide)
Here is an example of our best selling Loft Bed with Desk - the High Rise! It's an elevated corner loft with two beds up high. There's plenty of space underneath both beds for study & storage.
