Maxtrix delivers throughout the contiguous United States. Here's what to expect once you place your order:
Once we receive your order, it typically takes 5-7 business days for processing, picking & packing before it ships from our warehouse in South Carolina. A text or email shipping notification is sent when your order ships.
Most Maxtrix Kids orders are required to ship via freight (large furniture items cannot be shipped UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or USPS). The freight delivery process differs significantly from small package deliveries.
Freight transit times vary based on delivery destination. The further from our warehouse and freight carrier hub in the Carolinas, the longer the transit time. East Coast destinations typically take 10-15 business days. Orders shipping to the mid-west, west coast and rural areas should anticipate 15-30 business days transit time. Please note all transit times are estimates only. Due to the nature of the freight shipping process, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates.
Once your shipment arrives in your local area; the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Delivery times are generally Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM.
Note: Maxtrix furniture components are made from solid hardwoods and can be heavy - we recommend having 2 adults present to carry items into your home. Depending upon the size of your order, shipments may come on a pallet.

FREIGHT SHIPPING OPTIONS
- Standard Curbside/Outside - Your order will be delivered to the first dry area outside of the home. A delivery appointment will be scheduled in advance and a signature is required at time of delivery. This method is delivery only, no additional services are included.
- Threshold- Your order will be delivered into the first door of your choice (garage, inside front door, or porch). A delivery appointment will be scheduled in advance and a signature is required at time of delivery. This method is delivery only, no additional services are included.
BEYOND POINT DELIVERY (BPD): In some cases, our freight carriers may deem a certain area, based on location, to be a 'beyond point' or 'remote delivery location'. This is because the freight carrier does not perform regular deliveries in these areas and as a result, an additional fee will be applied.
Items that are temporarily unavailable and expected to be in stock within 30-60 days are available for preorder. For more information on an item’s anticipated ship date, please contact email@example.com.
All orders ship complete; so, any order containing a preordered item or component will only ship once the preordered item is available. Tracking information and order status will be provided once the completed order ships.
Significant changes to the expected in-stock dates of backordered items will be communicated to the customer. Orders may be modified or canceled up to 48 hours before shipment leaves our warehouse.

Please notify Customer Care at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately if you entered incorrect shipping information for your order. If you notify us within 24 hours from the time you placed your order and provide us with the correct shipping address, we may be able to update your order before it is shipped.
RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENT
Most carriers require that an adult receive and sign for the shipment – deliveries cannot be left unattended.
When your delivery arrives, please inspect and sign for each piece of your shipment. Our warehouse crew will have packed your order with TLC, but accidents can happen during freight transit. It's important to carefully look over each piece of your shipment.
In the event of any damaged or missing items; please retain all items, make a note on the delivery receipt, and take a photo of the damage. Then, contact us for assistance at email@example.com - we’ll resolve any problems quickly and easily.
Please do not refuse your delivery – this will make it more difficult, and time consuming to identify and resolve any issues with an order.

Maxtrix® furniture requires assembly and can certainly be self-assembled. Two adults are recommended for self-assembly. Time and effort for assembly varies depending upon which bed model you order (i.e. a simple day bed is quick & easy, while a quadruple bunk with staircase may take a while longer).
Maxtrix® furniture ships with detailed assembly instructions and all of the hardware needed. Hardware packs should be attached to a strip of red tape labelled "HARDWARE", which is located along the end flap of the box.
A hex wrench is included, but you may prefer to use a screw driver or power drill. Power drills should be set to a low setting to prevent damage to the wood or strip any cross dowels, bolt nuts or metal inserts.
We recommend that you open one box at a time, in the order of the instructions.
Item #20010 Leg Bolt Set leg bolts are typically packaged with the LADDER or STAIRCASE box. If your order includes a staircase, the leg bolts will usually be taped inside a drawer or to the underneath of the unit.
