  • Perfect Starter Loft Height: Kids love sleeping up high, and our low loft beds provide the perfect height for introductory elevated sleeping. This solid wood low loft bed maximizes fun for children while making it simple for parents to make the bed or tuck a child in. Kids can easily climb into this low loft bed with its solid wood ladder with extra wide, grooved steps.
  • Superior Safety Standards: With a weight limit ranging from 800 pounds for twin and full bed sizes to 2,000 pounds for twin XL and queen bed sizes (as supported by internal testing), industry-leading 16” guardrails, and low-VOC finishes for cleaner indoor air, you’ll rest soundly knowing your child is sleeping safely.
  • Configurable for Your Space: Choose either the straight ladder that sits flush against the loft bed or the angled ladder with handrail. With the flexibility to position the ladder on the front or end, this loft bed can fit in spaces of all shapes and sizes. Ladder options will change the bed’s dimensions based on type and orientation. The angled ladder extends 23”, and straight ladder measures 4” from the bed.
  • Ideal Lofted Height for Lower Ceilings: At only 50.75 inches high, this low-profile loft bed is suitable for rooms with low ceilings and smaller spaces. Maximize space for fun and comfort.

  • Dimensions: Twin loft bed measures 80” L X 42.5” W x 50.75” H. Twin XL loft bed measures 84” L x 42.5” W x 50.75” H. Full loft bed measures 80” L x 57.5”x 50.75” H. Queen loft bed measures 84” L x 64” W x 50.75” H. Your choice of ladder type and orientation will impact the overall footprint of this bed. The underbed height measures 33.5”. The minimum ceiling height for this bed is 8 feet.

"I searched off and on for literally a few years. We initially bought a loft from WayFair and realized during assembly it definitely wasn’t going to work. The pieces were literally splitting as we connected them. We got a refund. I’ve had my eye on Maxtrix for some time but couldn’t find a ton of reviews. Shipping did take some time due to it being a large item. We’ve had ours for about a month and I’m very happy with it. We got the drink holder and book rack which work perfectly. I also appreciate that it is customizable. If we need a new room layout, move, etc we can customize our existing piece to fit our needs. This is a game changer. My daughter is 7 and is already asking for a taller bed. We are keeping mid height for now but I’ll def consider changing this out in a few years to make more room."

"We couldn’t be happier with the Maxtrix Low Loft Bed with stairs! My son absolutely loves it — it’s become his favorite spot to sleep, play, and hang out. The stairs are a game changer compared to a ladder, especially for younger kids. They feel so much safer and sturdier, and I love the added storage space they provide. The quality is excellent — very solid, well-made, and clearly built to last. It also looks beautiful in his room and gives us so much more usable space underneath for play and organization. Overall, this bed has been such a great investment for both function and style, but most importantly, seeing how excited my son is about it makes it 100% worth it. Highly recommend!"

"Please fix the terrible shipping service. No tracking informariom and no communication for 4 weeks aftee the order. Them called to schedule a delivery date and time window 9am-1pm. Never showed up, and then rescheduled at 12:45 for different day."

So perfect

"We are in love with this low loft bed! It’s been perfect for our five year old. Our only concern was possibly slipping on the wood stairs during midnight bathroom trips, so we added some non slip strips to the stairs. Other than that, this is a great quality piece. Very sturdy, beautiful to look at and has lots of storage. Out version has six dresser drawers, a small bookshelf and the three drawers in the stairs. I can’t rave about it enough. Speaking of raves, even with the furniture in place under the unit, there’s still space underneath that’s good for storage bins, or in our case, we turned it into a reading nook/quiet place with some party lights. My kids love the little hideaway."

Good investment overall, not perfect.

"Overall I’m happy with the investment. I purchased two med loft frames. These are sturdy frames that will hold my boys through high school at least. I was disappointed that the ladder holes for the purpose of securing the ladder to the frame with bolts did not line up. The ladder was thinner than the access point on both frames. Only one side lines up and I was able to screw in the bolts. So one side is bolted, the other side is not. The holes are off by 1/8-1/4”. The ladder has mounting brackets and rests on the floor so it will probably not create an issue. For this price point however, the manufacturing/CAD programming on these products should be buttoned-up better, with little /of any alignment issues."

"Happy with the two loft beds. There are little details that are underwhelming relative to the price for example the wood plugs to fill the unused holes could fit better and the back of the shelf is not finished wood, it’s just a board. Other than that nice looking beds, the kids are happy."
