It is very convenient using this little tray. Makes it so much easier to get a drink of water in the middle of the night.
The bedside tray has been our necessary accessory. From low loft to high loft, we used the tray to hold alarm clocks, books, tissue boxes, drinks, and the like!
We now have two of these shelves on my daughter's loft and couldn't imagine living without them. One holds her drink, snack, random pencils and other accessories. The other holds her iPad, phone, a very small lamp, and whatever else she drags up to her haven. We opted for two of these small shelves instead of one long one, just in case a drink were to spill on the shelf (kids!), it would not get to the electronics on the other shelf. We bought a white extension cord with a hook on the end, and it slips firmly on to the sturdy lip of the shelf. Now she has bedside power for all her devices and lamp. These shelves are not obtrusive, and we do not hit our heads on them walking past. The lip around the shelf is deep enough to keep things from falling off, too.
