Shipping, Delivery & Assembly

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION

Maxtrix delivers throughout the contiguous United States. All beds and dressers ship via freight. Most Maxtrix Kids orders take 2-6 weeks to arrive in your home from the time the order is placed. Select orders (weighing less and with smaller dimensions) may qualify for ground shipment. Once your order has shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation text or email with tracking information.

  • Freight transit times vary based on delivery destination. East coast destinations typically take 10-15 business days. Orders shipping to the mid-west, west coast and rural areas should anticipate 15-30 business days transit time. Please note all transit times are estimates only. Due to the nature of the freight shipping process, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Once your shipment arrives in your local area; the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Delivery times are generally Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM

Your order will be delivered to the first door of your choice (garage, inside front door, or porch). A signature is required at time of delivery. This method is delivery only, no additional services are included.

  • Ground transit times vary from 4 to 10 days once processed. Ground deliveries do not require a signature or appointment. Orders will be left at your front door or mail receiving room.

Note: Maxtrix furniture components are made from solid hardwoods and can be heavy - we recommend having 2 adults present to carry items into your home. Depending upon the size of your order, shipments may come on a pallet.

BEYOND POINT DELIVERY (BPD):  In some cases, our freight carriers may deem a certain area, based on location, to be a 'beyond point' or 'remote delivery location'. This is because the freight carrier does not perform regular deliveries in these areas and as a result, an additional fee will be applied.

PREORDERS

Items that are temporarily unavailable are expected to be in stock within 60 days and can be preordered. For more information on an item’s anticipated ship date, please contact customercare@maxtrixkids.com.

All orders ship complete; so, any order containing a preordered item or component will only ship once the preordered item is available. Tracking information and order status will be provided once the completed order ships.

RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENT

When your delivery arrives, please inspect and confirm piece count. In the event of any damaged or missing items; please retain all items, make a note on the freight delivery receipt, and take a photo of the damage. Then, complete the Replacement Parts & Hardware form here and we’ll resolve any problems quickly.

Please do not refuse your delivery – this will make it more difficult, and time consuming to identify and resolve any issues with an order.

ASSEMBLY

Delivery options do not include assembly service.

SELF-ASSEMBLY

Maxtrix® furniture requires assembly and can be self-assembled. Two adults are recommended. Time and effort varies depending upon product of choice (i.e. a simple day bed is quick & easy, while a quadruple bunk with staircase will take longer).

Maxtrix® furniture ships with detailed assembly instructions and all of the hardware needed. Hardware packs should be attached to a strip of red tape labelled "HARDWARE", which is located along the end flap of the box. 

A hex wrench is included, but you may prefer to use a screw driver or power drill. Power drills should be set to a low setting to prevent damage to the wood or strip any cross dowels, bolt nuts or metal inserts.
