Shipping & Processing
Once we receive your order, it takes 3-5 business days to be processed before it ships from our warehouse in Lexington, NC. Deliveries must be changed or cancelled within this time, before your order leaves our warehouse to avoid any fees.
Delivery & Transit
Transit normally takes several business days depending upon location, but are generally 5-10 business days anywhere in the continental US. Delivery times are Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Preparing For Your Shipment
Standard shipments are curbside freight deliveries which differ from small package deliveries - depending upon the size of your order, shipments may come on a pallet. Please have 2 adults who are able to carry items from curbside/driveway into your home. Optional in-home delivery includes delivery + carrying your order up 1 flight of stairs, un-boxing and removal of all packaging.
Receiving Your Shipment
When your delivery arrives, please inspect and sign for each piece of your shipment. Our warehouse crew will have packed your order with TLC, but accidents can happen during freight transit. It's important to carefully look over each piece of your shipment. In the event of any damaged or missing items; please retain all items, make a note on the delivery receipt and and take a photo of the damage. Then contact us for assistance at: email@example.com
Due to factors that affect freight shipping requirements, orders for case goods alone such as dressers, nightstands, desks and bookcases do not qualify for most free shipping promotions and may incur a $49 shipping charge per order. Case goods ordered along with qualifying items such as beds and bed combinations do qualify for free shipping promotions.
How do I schedule my delivery?
After placing your order, the freight carrier will contact you to arrange a day for your delivery. Delivery days and times are Monday through Friday between 8AM to 5PM. Deliveries are not scheduled by Maxtrix or Maxwood Furniture, but by each freight carrier.

What are your shipping methods?
Within the contiguous United States we offer the following shipping methods: Ground Shipping (US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx) For smaller items such as knobs and accessories. Residential Curbside (Freight/Truck) Dressers, Desks & Beds will all ship this way. Premier In-Home Delivery (Professional Crew – 2 Man Team, does not include assembly of items)
What is Premier In-Home Delivery?
Let someone else do the heavy lifting and clean up! Premier In-Home Delivery service includes: Delivery of items to room of your choice. (up one flight of stairs) Un-boxing items and removal of packaging/trash. Assembly of furniture is not included, and only available in select areas. Premier In Home Delivery typically takes longer than Curbside Delivery, up to 10-15 business days after shipping from our warehouse depending upon your location.
What is Residential Curbside Delivery?
Our 3rd party freight carrier will deliver your shipment to your home. This does not include bringing the shipment inside, set up, removal of trash, or unpacking your items. Please have one (or two) adults who are able to carry items from curbside/driveway into your home.
What if I live in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road?
Live in the "Boonies?" Or maybe you have an obstacle course for a driveway? We can still help! If you foresee limited tractor trailer access, high incline to your destination, unpaved or long narrow driveways or any other known issue that may prevent or affect the delivery with a large freight truck let us know so that we may assign the correct delivery service to your home. What if my shipment is damaged in transit or incorrect?
If you receive a shipment with a damaged or broken item make a note on the delivery ticket before signing it. Please do not refuse the entire delivery, this will make the return process longer. Maxtrix or Maxwood Furniture, Inc. are not responsible for unforeseeable or uncontrollable shipping delays. Maxtrix or Maxwood Furniture, Inc. cannot adjust delivery dates once freight shipments have been released from our warehouse. While most orders ship within the time-frame noted, estimated shipping & delivery time frames are not guaranteed. Delivery times and dates controlled by third party freight carriers, not Maxtrix or Maxwood Furniture, Inc., and are subject to change.
