Alright, so here's why you need to consider the Slope. With an angled ladder and handrail, your child will climb safely onto the top bunk, but you're also not sacrificing any space as the ladder attaches to the front of the bunks. This creates a nice contemporary look as well.
Also, because the angled ladder rests on the bottom bedside rail, you can put a fully functional trundle or under-bed storage drawers below the bottom bed.
With two bed end styles, your headboard and footboard can look solid with panels, transparent with slats (shown above) or ornate with curved panels. Here's a look at the solid panels:
For shared rooms, you can't go wrong with the extra space on the bottom bunk; it has the perfect amount of room for reading or snuggling with parents. Grownups or overnight guests would also appreciate the full size for comfortable sleeping quarters.
Want to make your twin over full bunks even more fun? Add fabric top tents - available in multiple colors for boys or girls - OR make it a slide bed! The Slope with a slide is called a Maxtrix "Slick" bunk.
