I bought this bunk bed for my twins 4th birthday. They moved out of toddler beds to this. I was looking for something well built, not too tall or short, with high weight limits for when I need to climb in bed with an upset or sick kid. I like the height of this bed. I’m 5’6’’ and the top mattress is chest level and I can change the sheets on it from standing on the floor. It’s also high enough that it doesn’t feel like a little kid bed I would have to replace in a few years. The assembly was pretty good. The it took a few tries to figure out the metal interlocking system that connects the bunks (we ended up stack the beds and then sliding the top bunk off just one post at a time so we could put the metal rod in each leg of the top bed first. Before lifting up and setting all four rods in the lower bed). Assembly is a two person job. It was very nice that head and footboards come preassembled. The kids like hanging out with their toys in the top bunk. For reference in the picture, this bedroom has standard 8ft ceilings.
This bunk bed is solid and sturdy. I slept in a bunk bed when I was a kid and this one I bought for my boys is WAY stronger and looks great.
Wonderful bed! My daughter loves it!
