Maxtrix Feature at the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry
Our Maxtrix Kids Room team was excited to attend the unveiling of the brand new interactive exhibit at the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry - "Hideaways". The goal of the exhibit is to encourage play time and exploration in secret hiding spots that kids can claim as their own. Kids discover and develop their creative minds as they explore play lofts and imagine they're in real forts, castles, towers or other magical places. Take a look at the "Biggest Bed":

Maxtrix Play Lofts Feature
Four Maxtrix low lofts were positioned together to form an extra large play area equipped with top tents, under-bed curtains, towers, and, of course, a slide, forming amazing play lofts.

"Building and playing in Hideaways encourages critical thinking skills as children work alone or in groups to design and create their playspace. This takes creative thinking, trial and error, and the ability to work through issues that arise. When tackled cooperatively by siblings, friends, or with caregivers, children develop communication, teamwork and collaboration skills. All aspects of this exhibit are minimally structured and open-ended in order to ensure that children have ownership over the process and the playful results." - Children's Museum of the Lowcountry.
